My name is Lisa and I am on a 10 month research grant in Laos to research how art can be used to mitigate the effects of unexploded ordinance, as well as other issues.  See my website at www.lisanowlain.com.

I believe in murals and art as a tool for reframing, visualizing, and creating collective ownership over spaces and ideas.  They have many access points for collaboration and engagement for all ages, abilities, and contexts.

This blog will document my murals, processes, and lessons learned.  All images are copyright me unless otherwise (I’ll let you know), and you can totes use them if you ask me.
